A premier festival celebrated by a woman
for the long life of their husband is a most associated with our rituals;
customs and tradition developed by our ancestor during their age and believed
it is an essential duty accounted
by a god to the women of our society to show
their love, faith and honesty towards their husband.
A land where a custom and tradition holds a
prolific position and are given high value it is much inspired by a Hindu
mythology and the sacrifices of goddess like that of Mata Sati for her lord

Married women in these particular day wakes
up early before sunrise and do not eat or drink not even a drop of water until
it close out with the rising of moon that’s when their fast is over along with
their prayer to a god.
Festival starts just after 9 days of Diwali
and the process starts by listing to a tale of Legendry karwa who even dare to
challenge a lord of death for her husband life.
On this day married women gets their best
look and present their self like a newly married bliss by tying a traditional
attire with handsome of makeup like they are the beauty queen.
On a day they organizes a Puja at where
they set up their plate with all the essential ingredients like Henna, karwa,
mathi and other necessary elements in
the Puja thali and in the late afternoon gathers to a local mandir and cry
their prayers for the long life of their husband.

up at the terrace and sees it reflection through a thali or through a saris and
after that looks to eat something. Traditional custom is valued all over the
India mostly at the northern fronts where after Diwali married women get sets
for their important festival and they do it in a most traditional way.
